Inspecting Tires: Thoroughly examine tires to assess their condition and determine if they are suitable for retreading.
Buffing Tires: Use specialized equipment to remove the old tread from tires, preparing them for the retreading process.
Applying New Tread: Apply new rubber tread to the prepared tire casings using retreading machinery and techniques.
Curing Tires: Place retreaded tires into curing chambers or autoclaves to bond the new tread to the tire casing under controlled heat and pressure.
Quality Control: Ensure that retreaded tires meet industry standards and quality specifications, including tread depth, adhesion, and appearance.
Repairing Tires: Address any defects or damage on tire casings before the retreading process to ensure the integrity of the final product.
Maintaining Equipment: Perform routine maintenance on retreading machinery and tools to ensure proper functioning and safety.
Adhering to Safety Protocols: Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
Recording Data: Keep accurate records of the retreading process, including the number of tires processed, materials used, and any quality control issues.
Collaborating with Team: Work closely with other team members, including supervisors, technicians, and quality control inspectors, to ensure efficient operations and meet production goals.
Customer Service: Provide assistance and support to customers, including addressing inquiries, providing product information, and resolving any issues or concerns.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements in the retreading process.
