Job Description:
- Safely operate and drive delivery vehicles to transport items to specified locations.
- Load, unload, and verify the accuracy of items for delivery.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
- Adhere to traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company policies.
- Maintain delivery records, including logs, manifests, and receipts.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and keep delivery vehicles clean and organized.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns.
Qualifications:
- Commercial driving experience (at least 3 years)
- Completion of at least Senior High School or equivalent to the 2nd year of college (equivalent to 12 years of basic education in Canada) is required.)
- Know how to Conduct routine pre/post-trip truck inspections and maintaining accurate records of delivery routes, temperature logs, count sheets and incident reporting
