Job Description:
- Oversee and maintain Freon-based refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of large walk-in freezers, retail in-line coffin, and display cases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to refrigeration systems.
- Operate and maintain diesel generators, ensuring they are functioning properly in conjunction with refrigeration systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to prevent system failures.
- Assist with other facility maintenance tasks as needed, such as HVAC systems and general equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth facility operations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers or technicians.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of all maintenance and repair activities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working with Freon-based refrigeration systems.
- Extensive experience with large walk-in freezers, retail in-line coffin, and display cases.
- Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of diesel generators.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform additional facility maintenance tasks when required.
- Willingness to work in the Republic of the Marshall Islands, Micronesia.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant technical certifications in refrigeration or HVAC systems are a plus.
