Job Description:
- Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems, including Freon-based systems, large walk-in freezers, retail in-line coffin cases, and display cases.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure all refrigeration and generator equipment operates efficiently and safely.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with refrigeration systems and diesel generators, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel generators to ensure reliable backup power for refrigeration and other facility needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while performing all duties.
- Manage and maintain an inventory of parts and supplies necessary for refrigeration and generator maintenance.
- Collaborate with other facility maintenance staff to perform additional maintenance tasks as required, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed.
- Document all work performed, including maintenance logs and service reports, to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10-year experience in Freon system. Must have experience with large walk-in freezers as well as Retail in-line coffin and display cases. Experience with diesel generator also important. Will be required to perform other facility maintenance tasks as needed. Assignment is with the fastest growing company in Micronesia in Republic of the Marshall Islands. Salary will be based on experience.
