Perform diagnostic tests to identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy-duty diesel engines and equipment.
Conduct repairs and component replacements to address identified problems.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance procedures to prevent breakdowns and ensure reliability.
Complete overhauls of engine components to restore functionality and extend equipment lifespan.
Interpret electrical wiring diagrams and hydraulic system schematics for troubleshooting and repair.
Maintain and repair air-conditioning systems installed in heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.
Service and repair heavy-duty equipment from manufacturers such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Hitachi.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Possess previous experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably in a heavy-duty or industrial setting.
EOM (Equipment Original Manufacturer) training and certification preferred.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for engine diagnostics.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
