Job Description:
- Maintain and care for outdoor grounds, lawns, gardens, and landscaping features.
- Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, and other equipment to mow grass, trim edges, and maintain a neat appearance of lawns and landscapes.
- Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and other greenery as needed. Prune and trim trees and bushes to ensure health and aesthetics.
- Remove weeds and unwanted plants. Implement pest control measures to protect vegetation.
- Collect and dispose of litter, leaves, branches, and other debris to maintain cleanliness.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on groundskeeping equipment.
- grounds for seasonal changes (e.g., snow removal in winter, leaf removal in autumn).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscaping is beneficial.
- Knowledge of groundskeeping tools and equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
- Basic knowledge of plant care, landscaping, and horticulture may be advantageous.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends, especially during peak seasons.
