Upholster new furniture and reupholster existing pieces, including chairs, sofas, and custom furnishings.
Measure and cut materials accurately using patterns or dimensions.
Attach and secure fabric, leather, padding, and cushioning to frames using hand tools, power tools, and adhesives.
Repair and restore damaged furniture frames, springs, and cushions.
Collaborate with designers or clients to ensure specifications and quality standards are met.
Maintain cleanliness of work area and proper use of materials and tools.
Inspect finished pieces to ensure a polished and professional result.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Furniture Upholsterer.
Proven skills in furniture fabrication and upholstery.
Ability to work with a variety of upholstery materials, including fabric, leather, foam, and wood.
Experience in both traditional and modern upholstery techniques is an advantage.
