Job Description:

The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities of
the organization. This role ensures compliance with accounting standards, manages reporting,
develops internal controls, and supports strategic decision-making through accurate financial
insights. The Financial Controller acts as a key advisor to senior management on financial
planning, budgeting, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

. Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
. Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, or other applicable accounting standards.
· Develop and implement internal financial policies, procedures, and controls.
· Manage the consolidation of accounts for multiple entities, if applicable.
· Provide financial analysis and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.

Budgeting & Forecasting

· Lead the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
· Monitor performance against budget and provide variance analysis.
· Support department heads with financial planning and cost management.

Risk & Compliance

· Ensure compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements.
· Maintain internal audit readiness and liaise with external auditors.
· Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
· Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow management and investment policies.

Leadership & Team Management

. Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team.
· Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
. Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Strategic Support

· Partner with senior management to evaluate business opportunities and investments.
· Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis for decision-making.
· Contribute to long-term strategic planning by aligning financial strategies with business
goals.

Qualifications:

Qualifications & Skills

. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or equivalent
designation preferred).
. Proven experience (5-10+ years) in accounting/finance roles, with at least 3 years in a
leadership or supervisory capacity.
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting
standards.
· Proficiency in financial software (ERP systems, accounting software, advanced Excel).
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
· Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
