Job Description:
- Measure and cut fabric according to patterns and specifications for curtains and drapes.
- Sew fabric pieces together using industrial sewing machines, ensuring high-quality stitching and alignment.
- Perform alterations and adjustments on curtains as needed to meet customer requirements.
- Attach hooks, pleats, linings, and other finishing touches to curtains and drapes.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Handle customer inquiries and collaborate with designers to create custom curtain solutions.
- Maintain sewing equipment and work area in good condition.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Curtain Sewer or in a similar sewing role.
- Skilled in operating industrial and domestic sewing machines.
- Strong understanding of various types of fabric and their handling requirements.
- Ability to follow patterns and technical specifications with precision.
- Good attention to detail and manual dexterity.
