Job Description:
- Develop, implement, and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations using CAD CAM software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, NX, CATIA, or similar programs.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to create accurate CNC programs that ensure precision and efficiency in machining operations.
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines, including selecting the appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds for machining processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to CNC programming or machine operation to minimize downtime and maintain production quality.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure that CNC programs meet the required specifications and quality standards.
- Utilize geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure parts are machined accurately and within specified tolerances.
- Perform regular maintenance and calibration of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Continuously improve and update CNC programs to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in CNC programming, machining technologies, and materials used in the oilfield and manufacturing industries.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all machining operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a CNC (CAD CAM) Programmer / Machinist
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in the oilfield or manufacturing industry
- Proficiency in CAD CAM software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, NX, CATIA, or similar programs.
- In-Depth knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, and materials used in oilfield applications.
- Certification in CNC programming or related field is a plus.
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
