Job Description:
- Perform comprehensive maintenance and repairs on coach buses, specializing in engines from major OEMs such as Cummins, Caterpillar (Cat), and Paccar.
- Conduct electrical and computer diagnostics to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Handle repairs and maintenance on post-2010 emission systems, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
- Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and other mechanical systems.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure all work adheres to safety and quality standards.
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimize breakdowns and extend vehicle lifespan.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues using specialized diagnostic tools.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and minimize vehicle downtime.
- Stay current with advancements in automotive technology and emission systems.
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience as a Coach Bus Mechanic
- Electrical and computer diagnostics on major OEM engines – Cummins, Cat, Paccar is required
- Previous experience on repairs on post 2010 emissions systems is required
